# AI Assistant

> AI Assistant is a provider-agnostic, cross-platform desktop application for chatting with LLMs and working on code projects. It runs locally on Tauri 2.x (native WebView, no Electron) with a Rust backend and a SvelteKit 5 frontend. The user connects their own LLM endpoint (OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic), configures the system prompt, tools, MCP servers, and an external coding agent. It is not tied to any specific LLM provider.

This is the marketing site for AI Assistant. It is multilingual (11 languages: English, Español, Português, Français, Italiano, Deutsch, Русский, Українська, Беларуская, Polski, Čeština). English lives at the site root; other languages are served under their locale prefix (e.g. https://agnostic-ai-assistant.com/ru/, https://agnostic-ai-assistant.com/es/).
